161. MS-07 Gouf

The MS-07 Gouf was a series of mobile suits produced by the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. The Gouf is design as s a high-performance replacement for the MS-06J Zaku II Ground Type. The MS-07 Gouf first appears when Ramba Ral arrives on Earth to avenge the death of Garma Zabi. Ramba Ral and the Gouf proves to be a formidable foe for the White Base crew as it is far more powerful than the Zakus the crew have been fighting up until that point. The Gouf is armed with a 75 mm machine gun hand and "heat rod", which could be used as a superheated slicing weapon or as a grappling weapon with a powerful electric shock effect. It also has a powerful heat sword, an improved heat-based weapon from the Zaku's heat hawk. The Gouf could also use the standard Zaku II weapons, such as 120 mm machine gun or 280 mm bazooka. Amuro Ray in the Gundam eventually destroy Ramba Ral's Gouf, however the mobile suit soon becomes a mainstay of the Zeon ground forces. Shortly after the Gouf's introduction its production was halted in favor of the MS-09 Dom. However research into the Gouf's basic design would continue which would lead to the development of several improved models that would see limited production. Despite the research none of the Gouf's models would see development in the United Maintenance Plan that the Principality of Zeon initiated to improve existing mobile suit designs.

160. GEL GOOG MS-145

The MS-14 Gelgoog was a series of mobile suits produced by the Principality of Zeon during the final days of the One Year War and was the first Zeon produced mobile suit to carry beam weaponry. The suit was initially known as the MS-11 Gelgoog but the model number was eventually reassigned to the Action Zaku. The Gelgoog was designed as a high performance mobile suit equipped with beam weapons to counter the Earth Federation's RX-78-2 Gundam. As with the Zaku line of mobile suits, many variants of the Gelgoog were produced for different mission roles, such as support fire and sniping. During the OYW, the Gelgoog was initially tested by ace pilot Char Aznable, who piloted his own YMS-14S Gelgoog Commander Type for a short period of time. After further battles by Char and test piloting by Chimera Corps aces Johnny Ridden and Thomas Krutz, the Gelgoog was put into mass production as the MS-14A Gelgoog. However, despite being superior to any machine fielded by the Federation, with the exception of the various Gundam variants, when the unit was deployed at the Battle of A Baoa Qu most of these powerful machines were piloted by fresh and inexperienced recruits who were no match for the Federation's by then veteran mobile suit pilots. After the war, many Gelgoogs were either salvaged by Zeon remnants, captured by the Federation, or put on the market for civilian use. Between the years of U.C. 0088 and U.C. 0120 at least two Zeon remnant groups would take the Gelgoog's design and upgrade the mobile suit with modern technology of the time.

159. MSM-07 Z'Gok

The Z'Gok is a mobile suit created by the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War.

The Z'Gok's success came from what it learned from the Gogg's and Acguy's errors. The Z'Gok was very agile and fast in and out of water. MIP also replaced the bulky ballast water tanks used by the Gogg and Acguy for cooling off the mobile suit for out of water operations with an air cooling fan system. Notably, the weapon layouts were improved. Overall, the MSM-07 Z'Gok is considered the most successful amphibious mobile suit line produced by the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War.
Each of the Z'Gok's hands featured built-in mega particle cannons for easier and more precise aiming. Each hand also had three-claws which could be used to thrust into the Earth Federation's mobile suits or they could be used to smash things as well. The Z'Gok also had six 240 mm missile launchers built into the head with five rounds.

158. YMS-15 Gyan

The YMS-15 Gyan is a mobile suit from the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam.

Produced by the Zimmand Company, the YMS-15 Gyan was meant to be the rival to the Zeonic Company's MS-14 Gelgoog. The Gyan is meant to fight along side Zimmand's highly popular and powerful MS-09 Dom and MS-09R Rick Dom mobile suits.
The exotic YMS-15 Gyan was meant as a purely close-combat mobile suit with Zimmand's Doms providing the long-range support. The Gyan's primary weapon was a large and powerful beam sword. A support weapon was a large, circular shield that has 56 small missiles launchers built into it. The shield also holds a dozen hide bombs and space mines that are used to lay traps.
The appearance of the Gyan, with its silver armor and Pickelhaube helmet design the Gyan has a strong resemblance to a medieval armored knight.

156. RX-78GP01 Gundam "Zephyranthes"

The RX-78GP01 Gundam "Zephyranthes" (aka Gundam Zephyranthes, GP01, Unit 1) is a mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. It is piloted by Kou Uraki.

As described in the MG model manual and MS encyclopedia, at the conclusion of the One Year War, the Federation opened the Gundam Development Project, aimed at creating mobile suits superior to those that Zeon had developed. The RX-78GP01 Gundam Zephyranthes was the first of three Gundam type mobile suit prototypes completed under this plan.
The RX-78GP01 was designed to be an adaptable mobile suit, able to operate under any condition on earth or in space; to that end its design is superficially similar to the other RX series Gundams. Unlike previous suits, this was one of the first to re-introduce the core fighter concept in its design, utilizing the recently developed FF-XII Core Fighter II as the cockpit. The RX-78GP01 was taken to Australia's Torrington Base for terrestrial testing, where it was commandeered by (and later assigned to) Federation ENS (later LTJG) Kou Uraki in his effort to retrieve the RX-78GP02A.

155. RX-77 Guncannon

The RX-77 Guncannon is a fictional mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam anime series, originally designed and illustrated by Kunio Okawara. One of earliest mecha designs in the Real Robot genre, Guncannon's concept of a heavily armored humanoid machine with dual shoulder cannon became the inspiration for various artillery fire-support mecha in other mecha anime and games. The Dankof from Blue Comet SPT Layzner (1985), Dragonar-2 from Metal Armor Dragonar (1987), Schutzwald from the Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation video game series, and other designs owe to the aesthetic of the Guncannon as inspiration for their designs.
