It started out as a simple hobby when, lo and behold, I realized I have just accumulated 20,000 distinct toy characters in my collection... and the number is still growing. This blog is a great space to share to others just how amazing some of these characters are especially the ones that may have been forgotten or perhaps even those deemed insignificant. Visit Percy's World of Toys as often as you can and witness how the list progresses right before your eyes. Enjoy.

1751. Dodger
Dodger is one of the main protagonists from Disney's 1988 feature film Oliver & Company, based on The Artful Dodger from Charles Dickens' "Oliver Twist". In Disney's re-imagining, he is a street-smart mongrel (although his predominant breed appears to be terriers), continuing the stereotype that mongrels are smarter than purebreds. He is voiced by Billy Joel.
Dodger is the appointed leader of Fagin's gang his first scene in the film appears when his paws are seen underneath a car. He is calm, sly, and cool and is also Oliver's best friend since he doesn't mind cats because of "Too much fur".
