It started out as a simple hobby when, lo and behold, I realized I have just accumulated 20,000 distinct toy characters in my collection... and the number is still growing. This blog is a great space to share to others just how amazing some of these characters are especially the ones that may have been forgotten or perhaps even those deemed insignificant. Visit Percy's World of Toys as often as you can and witness how the list progresses right before your eyes. Enjoy.

1810. Beverly Bear
This vintage Russ Berrie Bear is called BEVERLY!
She is dressed in an old-fashioned Christmas plaid dress, adorned with cream eyelet lace and matching underpants/bloomers. It is trimmed with a velour forest or teal green bow and waistband. The elastic on the underpants is stretched out and no longer tight. Her fur is a light brown, sort of nubby type, looks matted but I believe it is meant to be that way. She is made to look old!
She has a spot on the back of head that is faded/discolored. This is not noticed from the front. It could be covered up with a hat but she looks pretty cute as is!
She looks awfully cute displayed during the holidays!
She measures 21" tall and is not jointed.
