Ruby Trollman is the spunky self-proclaimed leader of the BFFL group. She is bossy and self-centered, but not afraid to speak her mind. She has a habit of taking charge of the BFFL club and usually focuses WAY too much on her appearance. Although this tends to get her in trouble, her friends have got her back and vice versa. She also knows when she makes a mistake (usually). Her favorite food is Mint Chocolate Troller Chip Ice Cream (so she gets a sweet with a breath mint in one go), and her favorite things to do are have her hair done at Trollze's Hair Salon, check out cute guys, and shop for spell beads. Her favorite color is Hair Dye # 35, her "natural" hair color.
Her gem is red and is shaped like a star. Her Ancient is Obsidian, the owner of Obsidian's Spellz (a shop in the Trollzopolis Mall), . This bold fourteen-year-old directs her flirting towards Rock. Ruby is also impatient and hates when someone beats her at magic, even Amethyst.
Ruby's red eyes match her spiky red hair styled in the shape of a star. She also wears a loose white top (that allows you to see her left bra strap) emblazoned with a green star, cuffed blue jeans, and yellow sneakers with green stripes. The tanned Ruby also wears a red spell bead bracelet on her right wrist. She is voiced by Chiara Zanni.
