It started out as a simple hobby when, lo and behold, I realized I have just accumulated 20,000 distinct toy characters in my collection... and the number is still growing. This blog is a great space to share to others just how amazing some of these characters are especially the ones that may have been forgotten or perhaps even those deemed insignificant. Visit Percy's World of Toys as often as you can and witness how the list progresses right before your eyes. Enjoy.

2891. Melon-pult
The Melon-pult lobs watermelons at incoming zombies. These melons smash on impact, causing slight further damage to other nearby zombies (within one square in any direction). Since it's melons do 4 times the damage of a pea, and it shoots 1/2 times of a Peashooter, therefore, the Melon-pult has the same damage rate of a Repeater, only except it can injure more zombies outside its melon, and can also shoot over the Roof. Melon-pults also cost less than four Peashooters. The Melon-pult can fire over the shields of Ladder Zombie, Screen-door Zombie, and Trash Can Zombie.
Both the Melon-pult's shape and projectile are based on Citrullus lanatus, the common watermelon. This is the last plant you gain in Adventure Mode before the final stage.

2889.McDigi Monkey 2011
A "Happy Meal" is a meal specifically marketed at children, sold at the fast-food chain McDonald's since June 1979. A toy is typically included with the food, both of which are usually contained in a small box or paper bag with the McDonald's logo.
2888. McDigi Elephant 2011
The Happy Meal did not introduce the practice of providing small toys to children. In Canada, the promotion prior to the Happy Meal was called the "Treat of the Week," where a different toy was available free on request each week.[citation needed] This promotion continued after the Happy Meal was introduced in 1994.
Happy Meal toys have become increasingly elaborate in recent years. While initially they were little more than a cheap plastic trinket such as a Frisbee or ball, they have gradually been replaced with increasingly sophisticated toys, many of which are a tie-in to some existing toy line or contemporary motion picture. Between 1995 and 2006, this was usually a Disney movie (Disney movie themes had also been used earlier, but sporadically). However, Disney didn't renew the contract, wishing to use their characters to promote healthier foods.
On November 2, 2010, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors passed a law requiring that children's meals sold in restaurants must meet certain nutritional standards before they could be sold with toys, to reduce triggering of childhood obesity. The law, urged in part by increase of childhood obesity in the United States, would allow toys to be included with children's meals that have less than 600 calories and less than 640 milligrams of sodium, contain fruits and vegetables, and include beverages without excessive fat or sugar. The Board overturned the veto of Mayor Gavin Newsom on November 23 to pass the law. The law has been ridiculed by many, including the satirical news program The Daily Show.

The Hello Kitty trademark has spread globally; Sanrio earned over $1 billion annually in sales outside of Japan, as of 2003. Although mainly aimed at the pre-adolescent female market, the Hello Kitty product range goes all the way from purses, stickers and pen sets to toasters, televisions, clothing, massagers, and computer equipment. It has a cult-like following among adults as well, especially in Asia, where Hello Kitty adorns cars, purses, jewelry and many other high-end consumer products. Several Hello Kitty TV series, targeted towards young children, has also been produced. Examples of products depicting the character include dolls, stickers, greeting cards, clothes, accessories, school supplies, dishes and home appliances. 2878. Jilly
Zhu Zhu Pets, formerly Go Go Hamsters in the UK, is an American line of plush robotic hamster toys, created by Cepia LLC in 2009. They were a craze during the 2009 Christmas season holidays.
Zhu Zhu Pets were created by Russ Hornsby for his St. Louis company, Cepia LLC. The name comes from Chinese 猪猪 zhū zhū, meaning "little pig." In late 2009 Cepia employed only 16 people in the U.S. and 30 in China. The original Zhu Zhu Pets are nine different characters, with names like Chunk, PipSqueak, Mr. Squiggles and Num Nums. There are also various accessories for creating customized hamster habitats. Zhu Zhu Pets can be put in either of two play modes: "nurturing mode," in which they coo and purr, or "adventure mode," in which they explore their habitat and respond to various stimuli. Zhu Zhu Pets were a craze during the 2009 holidays. The toys originally retailed for $9 USD, but for a time they sold for over $60 because of shortages.
2877. Pipsqueak
In December 2009 testing done by the consumer organisation GoodGuide was initially thought to have found more than the allowed level of the toxic metal antimony in the toy Mr. Squiggles. After doing a review, regulators from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said that the toy was within the "very protective" standard. GoodGuide subsequently issued an apology saying their testing methods (which checked for surface toxins) were different from the federal standards.
Cepia encourages collecting of Zhu Zhu Pets. Exclusive pets have been released in collaboration with Hallmark, Build-A-Bear Workshop and Toys "R" Us. In early 2010 a set of new characters was releases, including the Rockstar pets (Roxie, Ryder, Pax and Kingston) which are inspired by the children of celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Gwen Stefani. Oshawott's eyes are large, dark, and ovoid in shape; its dark-orange nose is shaped like an oval on its side. Oshawott also possesses speckles to the sides of its face, most likely meant to be a stylistic implication of short whiskers in the common manner of cartoon canines, and light blue bubble-esque features composing a "collar" around its neck. Oshawott's torso is light blue, and decorated with a pale yellow seashell feature in the center. Made out of keratin, this appendage, called a "scalchop", can be removed and used in various ways; mainly, as a weapon. Its small, digit-less and somewhat rounded arms are white in coloration, with its feet—having, unlike its forearms, discernible digits—colored dark blue. Oshawott also possesses a slightly plank-shaped dark blue tail and a pair of fangs unseen until it opens its mouth.
It can fight skillfully by detaching the scalchop on its belly. The scalchop can be used for a variety of different things, such as a acting like a sword, shield, and boomerang.
If Oshawott is attacked, it will fight back using its scalchop without any hesitation. When eating, Oshawott uses its forepaws to move food to its mouth. (rather than going down on all fours to eat it)
2872. Gothita
Gothita (Japanese: ゴチム Gothimu) is a Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V.

Its eyes appear to possess no pupils, and its eyelids and circular "eyebrow" markings are red. Zorua possesses a ruff of black fur around its neck, and limbs tipped with red. Its tail is bushy, and when it opens its mouth small fangs can be seen
Zorua are capable of changing their physical appearance. Unlike the transformations that are caused by the move Transform, this transformation is merely an illusion, allowing Zorua to keep its own type and moves. As evident in its movie debut, whenever a Zorua takes on a human form, its tail still remains, but when its tail is touched or grabbed, the Zorua reverts back to its true form instantly. Zorua, along with its evolution, are the only Pokémon capable of learning Night Daze.
Zorua takes on the appearance of other Pokémon to frighten off enemies. Sometimes it will take the form of a silent child. It keeps its true form hidden to ensure its safety. As shown in its movie debut, Zorua are mischievous and will sometimes laugh at the enemies they confuse when they take on their appearance. They will also laugh after they are forced back into their true forms, snickering at the harmless mischief they caused. Zorua will sometimes laugh at its enemies, even when it is in a dangerous situation.

In order for Woobat to explore its surroundings, it releases ultrasonic waves from its nostrils.
It lives in dark forests and caves. It sleeps stuck on the walls of caves by its nostrils, doing so, it is known to leave heart marks on the places where it was stuck.

The lower part of its body is white, with rounded forepaws, digit-less feet with black paw-pads, and a small round tail.
A Cubchoo's nose is constantly running. It inhales the mucus and uses it in its attacks. If it is in bad health, the mucus becomes watery, which powers down its Ice-type techniques.

Audino (Japanese: タブンネ Tabunne) is a Normal-type Pokémon.
It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
Audino is a bipedal, blue-eyed, pink-and-cream-colored Pokémon. The upper section of its face is pink, as are its floppy ears, exempting the tips and curled lower extensions which are cream-colored. The sides of Audino's chest and arms are also pink, somewhat resembling a jacket, although the tips of its forelimbs are cream. Its small tail is lumpy and white, similar to soft serve ice cream.
Audino have an incredible hearing ability and can use their ears like radars. The feelers on Audino's ears act like stethoscopes in that they can feel the beat of the opponent's heart. By listening to other Pokémon's heartbeats, Audino can assess their feelings and overall physical condition.

2866. Mutya
Mutya is a Philippine fantasy series produced and aired by ABS-CBN that is based on Pablo S. Gomez's comic of the same name. The series introduced the network's newest discovered child actress Mutya Orquia. The series premiered on January 31, 2011 on ABS-CBN's primetime slot.
Mutya (Mutya Orquia), a child mermaid, was the love child of Cordelia (Precious Lara Quigaman), a human, and Prinsipe Irvin (Alfred Vargas), the Prince of the seaworld kingdom. However, their relationship was forbidden as Irvin is set to be married with another royalty mermaid, Nerissa (Niña Jose). Cordelia got pregnant at the time of their relationship, and was forced to give birth to the child. The child was born with an unknown disability, where her legs were attached to each other. Cordelia's mother, Delilah (Sandy Andolong), sees this, was horrified and she decided to abandon the child. She assigned Tonyo (Jayson Gainza) to take away the baby. Tonyo however brought the child back to his home and treated her as their own and named her Mutya. As Mutya grows up, she was protected by her older brother Aries (Jairus Aquino), who has always been there for her. Mutya was still yet to realize that she is a mermaid. With her legs being attached to each other, it was mistaken as a disability although it was actually her mermaid tail slowly forming.
Mutya Orquia as Mutya/Prinsesa Mutya/Mutya Sardenas - A little girl who was mistaken to have a disability with her feet attached to each other. She is the missing daughter of Haring Irvin and Cordelia.
2864. Doomageddon with Voltar and Reginald (Red) Menace
Doomageddon is a pan-dimensional hellhound that has the ability to teleport, change size, fly, and turn invisible. He was originally referred to as a "Hellhound" (despite re-dubbing, Red's lip animation in "Table for Four" is clearly saying "Hellhound") it has since been replaced with the more viewer-friendly term, "Doom Hound".[4] Doomageddon wears a brown cloak, and can prove useful to the other three members of L.O.S.E. Unfortunately, the destruction he is capable of is more often directed at the team rather than their foes. For reasons unknown, he seems to have chosen Doktor Frogg as his personal chew-toy, even ingesting him whole on countless occasions. He is a take off of the "monster" villain stereotype. Red treats Doomageddon more or less as a regular pet dog, and seems to be the only member of the team that Doomageddon will pay any heed to, despite the assumption that Voltar is his actual owner. Doomageddon is chaotic at his best, gladly eating any random objects he comes across. He is also depicted as likely to be the most deadly member of the team, but is far too lazy or uncontrollable to wreak havoc to its fullest. And in season 2, Doomageddon talks and made Mariena fell with a crush on him. While he is capable of driving the V-Mobile on occasion, he can usually be seen riding in the small trailer hitched to the back. Doomageddon especially dislikes going to the vet, and will usually disappear into an alternate dimension at the mere mention of the word. Also, he himself also serves as a "portal" to this other realm (as witnessed in "Lose Tooth"). It was shown in Vollosus that Doomageddon also has fire breath. In a Season 2 episode, it is revealed Doomageddon is hated by Dr. Frogg because of the mauling and chewing. It is also shown that if he is washed in shampoo it makes a chemical reaction that creates a deadly "Sludgezilla".
2863. Doktor Frogg
Doktor Frogg (voiced by Lee Tockar): Probably the smartest member of L.O.S.E, Frogg is a mad scientist whose genius is hampered by bad luck (he is usually electrocuted at least once in nearly every episode). He has robotic, three-clawed hands that are multi-functional, but are terrible at grasping small objects. He is obviously a reference to the "Mad Scientist" villain stereotype. Frogg's voice is a slight take-off of horror-movie mainstay Peter Lorre, albeit higher. Frogg also has a darker, psychotic, and quite deadly side that may relate to past evil outside of L.O.S.E. He also shows much more evil intelligence than the other members and can distinguish between evil plans, and Voltar's plans. He is fanatically obsessed with heavy-metal star Rock Gothlington, to the point where he even snagged and kept a sweat towel used by the rocker while posing as a concert stagehand. Because his title has a k in it rather than a c, it is implied that Frogg is at least part German. Frogg is constantly bullied and eaten by Doomageddon. It is revealed that he is allergic to hair. In a Season 2 episode, it is revealed after all the mauling and chewing, Dr. Frogg has come to hate Doomageddon. He is, apart from his experiments (that usually go wrong), obsessed with getting his claws on Voltar's bedroom whenever Voltar has a near death experience, which as you might guess is very often.
2862. Rikochet
Rikochet is an ambitious 10-year-old student at the school of Lucha Libre who wants to be the greatest luchador of all time (aka Luchador Supreme). His signature moves are the "Pulverizing Pinball", in which he turns into a giant pinball following a brief and melodramatic routine, and the "Spinning Top" in which he transforms into a giant top. His greatest role model is "El Rey", and his father is the famous "Lone Star". Rikochet, when faced with misfortune, usually remarks, "Ay basura," which is "Oh Crap" in English. He was voiced by Carlos Alazraqui in the first two seasons and Jason Marsden in the third season.

2861. Wally
Wally, whose name was localised for international additions: In the first two books, Wally wandered alone; he was the only person or thing that could be found in every illustration in the books. Over time more characters were added to find in each scene.
Where's Wally?, published in the United States and Canada as Where's Waldo?, is a series of children's books created by British illustrator Martin Handford. The books consist of a series of detailed double-page spread illustrations depicting dozens or more people doing a variety of amusing things at a given location. Readers are challenged to find a character named Wally hidden in the group. Wally's distinctive red-and-white striped shirt, bobble hat, and glasses make him slightly easier to recognise, but many illustrations contain "red herrings" involving deceptive use of red-and-white striped objects. Later entries in the long-running book series added other targets for readers to find in each illustration.[1]
The first book in the series, titled Where's Wally, was published in 1987. The books became extremely popular and were localised for many different territories, with name changes for Wally in certain regions. The franchise also spawned other media in a more storyline-based form, including a TV series, a comic strip and a series of video games.
2860. McDull
McDull is a cartoon pig character that was created in Hong Kong by Alice Mak and Brian Tse. Although McDull made his first appearances as a supporting character in the McMug comics, McDull has since become a central character in his own right, attracting a huge following in Hong Kong.
McDull is a male pig who can be distinguished by a birthmark on his right eye. He has a heart of gold, but he isn't very smart and ordinary in every way; nevertheless, he has many dreams. However, every time he tries, he fails; he is disappointed, but tries again, exploring other dreams. In this way he creates his own colourful world. He lives his life simply and naturally. He is not perfect, but his attitude towards life, namely of never giving up, makes him a popular character.
The name McDull actually has a story itself. When Mrs Mak was going to give birth to McDull, she saw a magical plastic basin (pronounced roughly as "dull" in Cantonese) flying over her head. Believing it a sign from the gods, she named her son as "Dull". In Kung Fu Ding ding dong we[who?] also find out why he is not smart. When McDull was still a baby, Ms Mak sent him to a test on the Mozart effect. Sadly, he was put in the control group and listened to what was said as 'nonsense songs' instead of Mozart.
2858. Uzumaki Naruto
Uzumaki Naruto (Naruto Uzumaki in the English anime) is the main character of the manga and anime series Naruto. He is a student of Hatake Kakashi's and later of Jiraiya.
History
Little is known about Naruto's birth or parentage, and it is very probable that he has no living relatives at all. What is known, however, is that around the time his mother was about to give birth to him, the Nine-tails Demon Fox, or Kyūbi no Yōko, attacked his village, Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf) and the Yondaime Hokage (Fourth Hokage) decided to seal the demon away with a forbidden technique inside him, sacrificing his life in the process. Yondaime's wish was for Naruto to be remembered as a hero by the people of the village.
Things, unfortunately for him, definitely did not turn out that way. The people of the village needed something to blame and channel their bitterness and loss onto, and he was the perfect candidate. The adults of the village, without known exceptions, knew him and treated him as nothing more than the demon fox that has attacked the village; As a result he grew up alone and isolated. It is implied in the manga that he went through very difficult emotional times and often shed many tears, but kept reprimanding himself for doing so and telling himself nothing would be achieved by crying. Eventually he developed into the loudmouth, hyperactive prankster he was at the start of the manga, though as the Third Hokage (Sandaime) observed (and even Naruto himself, in a moment of rare enlightenment, once admitted this), it is only an act to cover up for his deep insecurity in a desperate plight for recognition.
By chance or fate, Umino Iruka, who had felt much of the same desperation as Naruto in his younger years, was Naruto's teacher, and he was the first person to recognize Naruto as a human being and ninja, and not just as a stupid screwup or the Nine-Tails. Naruto, at one point, says that when he is with Iruka, he often wonders whether that is what being with a father is like.
Personality and characteristics
Naruto is very determined and has very strong values that he never once fails to act by, even in hopeless situations. His dream is to become Hokage, as it is the epitome of his ambitions to have the village acknowledge him and live for the sake of protecting his important people.
Naruto has a knack for inspiring people to realise their potentials and resolve to work harder or change their ways for the better; his determination and resolve often earn him sympathy from other characters. One early example of this is Konohamaru, the grandson of the third Hokage, who was inspired by Naruto to stop trying to find shortcuts to becoming Hokage, as there are no shortcuts and the only way is paved with plenty of hard work. Another is Inari, whom Naruto helped by making him see that anyone can make a difference and by confronting him about his refusal to come to terms with his painful past (as Naruto's past was similarly tragic). Both of them have gotten very attached to Naruto and have taken to calling him Onii-chan (big brother).
Though he is naturally impetuous, hyperactive and tends to rush into combat without thinking, Naruto is capable of devising some quite clever plans by creative usage of his jutsu. He has more than once upstaged what looked like a superior opponent by exploiting the element of surprise an unconventional usage of a technique entails; Kakashi even dubs him the "number one ninja in surprising people". Another main driving force behind his otherwise average Taijutsu and Ninjutsu abilities is the huge power and chakra reserves of the Kyūbi. Kyūbi is by no stretch of the imagination a particularly pleasant character, but nevertheless does everything in his power to help Naruto - lending chakra as requested, healing Naruto with his extreme healing ability and so forth - if only for the fact that Naruto's death would apparently mean the Kyūbi's death as well.
There are downsides to the huge chakra load that is Kyūbi; like most of the biggest weapons, it can't be lifted, let alone wielded, with ease. Naruto is a relatively small container that cannot quite handle the whole of Kyūbi's chakra, which might account for Naruto's inability to control and focus chakra consistently for jutsu during his days at the academy. Even later, when Naruto learns to better control his chakra, any technique relying on Kyūbi's chakra to work properly runs a chance of failing, as it takes great conviction or control on Naruto's part to draw Kyūbi's chakra effectively. However, Naruto's Chakra and Kyūbi's chakra are slowly fusing and are expected to eventually become one, which is bound to drastically change this status-quo.

2857. Uchiha Sasuke Kohan
A Genin level Ninja, Sasuke is the natural genius offspring of the once powerful Uchiha Clan. One of the most outstanding clans in Konohagakure, the Uchiha Family was known for its Bloodline Limit ability, the Sharingan, and formed much of the Konohagakure's village police force. Sasuke along with his brother Itachi are the only two known remaining survivors of the clan.
Early Childhood
The second son of a Konohagakure police captain, Sasuke grew up in the shadow of his older brother, Itachi, who was acknowledged as a prodigy, mastering the Sharingan by the age of 8, attaining Chūnin rank at the age of 10, and becoming an ANBU captain at the age of 13. As a result, the Uchiha clan took great pride and interest in Itachi and viewed him as a genius whose work will further strengthen the bonds between the village and the clan. In particular, Sasuke's father took an active interest in Itachi's career and his entry into ANBU, largely neglecting Sasuke, the younger son, aside from cursory inquiries into Sasuke's school life. While Sasuke looked up to his brother, aspiring to become a prodigy ninja also acknowledged by the clan and his father, Itachi seemed friendly yet distant. Despite his promises to Sasuke to spend quality time, his work seemed to cause him to break his promises.
After an incident between Itachi and other Uchiha clan members, relations between Itachi and Sasuke's father deteriorate. Itachi's behavior becomes increasingly bizarre, estranging him further from other members of the Uchiha clan. During this time, Sasuke's father, on a whim, decides to spend time with Sasuke, teaching him Katon: Gōkakyu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique). Sasuke eventually succeeds in performing the jutsu in front of his father, surprising him. At that moment, Sasuke finally receives his father's recognition and the right to wear the clan's emblem on his back, a sign of adulthood. He also receives a stern warning not to follow in Itachi's footsteps.
One day, on the way home from shuriken practice, Sasuke is horrified to find his entire clan massacred by Itachi, who wanted to test his "capacity". Confronting Itachi in their home, his broken, sobbing self is further subjected to intense psychological torture by Mangekyo Sharingan. Itachi tells him to use his hatred of him to grow stronger: "If you wish to kill me, hate me, detest me, and survive in an unsightly way. Run, run and cling to life. And one day, when you have the same eyes as me, come before me."
2856. Jerry
Jerry the mouse who is the primary villain of the T&J Show. Jerry has experienced years of child abuse through beatings from his drunk father. Like all mice, Jerry is addicted to cheese, which Tom uses as an advantage, because everyone knows mice are stupid and can't help but to take cheese lying on an obvious mouse-trap in plain sight. Jerry now spends most of his time torturing Tom. It has been his favorite hobby ever since his best friend/love interest was killed with an oriole. Whatever that means.
2855. Rosalina
Rosalina is a character who makes her debut appearance in the game Super Mario Galaxy. Rosalina first appears in the Gateway Galaxy, and she is also the adopted mother of the Lumas. Rosalina commands the Comet Observatory. She is a very powerful figure, as her duty is to watch over and protect the cosmos as well as the Lumas.
Rosalina's back-story is chronicled in her storybook told by her in the Comet Observatory's Library in Super Mario Galaxy. Nine chapters are unlocked throughout the game, and the last is unlocked by completing the game. During the story, Rosalina mentions her home planet as "a blue planet"; Earth is also known by this name.
Rosalina has been voiced by Mercedes Rose in all of her appearances to date.
Rosalina has a very tall frame, in terms of other characters, being about as tall as Waluigi, if not taller. Rosalina appears to have a similar body composition to Peach, though she is taller than her, and is even classified as a large-sized character in Mario Kart Wii, as a result. Rosalina's skin is very fair, being a pallor white. Most of her facial features are similar to Peach's, but are tapered sharper. She has the same type of lips and nose as Peach, though her mouth has more of a natural frown and a pinkish-orange tone. Her eyes are similar to Peach's as well, but are more almond-shaped and have a deep, brown shade to her lashes rather than black. Like other main human characters, Rosalina has blue eyes, though her's have a noticeably cyan hue.
Rosalina's hair is depicted as a platinum-blonde, a much lighter blond than Peach's yellow-blond. Rosalina's hair style is very similar to Peach's, as it consists of two separate flips on the sides in the same shape. Unlike Peach's hair however, Rosalina's includes one large bang (which covers her right eye completely), two long, shaped ear-tails, and two rows of flips at her shoulder. Continuing from her shoulder is a large single flip down her back.
2854. Boog
Boog is the main protagonist in the Open Season series. He was portrayed as the secondary protagonist in Open Season 2.
Boog is a happy-go-lucky, 900-pound grizzly; however, he can get a bit irritated right away.
Added by TheSitcomLover
In the original film, Elliot served as a foil for Boog, even though at the end, they became partners.
In the third film, Boog plans an annual guys trip to spend some time with his male friends, but Reilly, McSquizzy, Ian, Buddy, and Serge and Deni are all busy, so the only one left is Elliot, but Giselle tells Elliot to tell Boog he can't go on the guys trip due to Giselle going to visit her mother. So, an upset Boog goes to Russia and tries to make new friends there, but when his friends find out about his disappearance, all hatch a mission to rescue Boog.
2853. The Jalapeno
The Jalapeno is a high-damage explosive that can clear an entire lane of zombies and even melt Zomboni's ice.
Its shape and name are based on the chilli pepper, valued for its spicy flavor. It will make an instant kill on most zombies.
Jalapenos can be good last-minute saves, since they can be planted behind an incoming wave, clearing the entire lane.
Jalapeno in Zen Garden
Also, since a Jalapeno will melt ice as well as destroy a Zomboni and ladders, it makes a great addition to any levels with them; this is why Jalapenos are of great help in the Mini-game Bobsled Bonanza. It takes two Jalapenos to kill a Gargantuar, so keep that in mind. You can also use a Jalapeno on a Gargantuar when it throws its Imp, as it will be destroyed along with the Gargantuar.
Jalapeno Zombie
When dealing with Dr. Zomboss in the boss battle, the Jalapeno will destroy incoming snowballs he sends, as well as do some damage to his Zombot (if his head is shown).
Note, however, that Jalapenos also unfreeze any zombies that can survive it, (Gargantuars, Giga-Gargantuars and Dr. Zomboss) in the same manner as Torchwood fire.
2852. The Peashooter
The Peashooter is the very first plant obtained, and the first combative plant used by the player. It is the only regular offensive plant available until one obtains the Snow Pea in level 1-6.
The design for the Peashooter appears to be loosely based on the Codonopsis pilosula, a type of bellflower, and its weapon a reference to the pisum sativum.
Its name is a pun on "pea" and "pea shooter", which is a toy consisting of a long tube that the user can blow through to shoot dried peas or small bits of paper, like a weak gun. A peashooter can be considered an automated, living pea shooter, going along with its namesake.
The Peashooter is the standard firepower in your floral arsenal, and the first offensive plant made available to the player. This is the only plant used in level 1-1 in Adventure mode. The plant is meant to be placed in the lane of an oncoming zombie, where it will fire upon the zombie with peas until it has been neutralized (fires one pea per 1.4 seconds). Peashooters are useful for early defense, so once the player has sufficient Sun, perhaps from Potato
2851. Cherry Bombs
The Cherry Bomb is the first explosive plant that you will receive in the game. It is given for completing Adventure mode level 1-2. The Cherry Bomb reaches up to three lanes and two squares in each of the three lanes. It can kill zombies on a 3x3 area through its explosion. The Cherry Bomb also destroys Balloon Zombies and Digger Zombies. Even though it is a plant that does massive damage, it can only do half damage the Gargantuar and 33% damage to the Giga-Gargantuar. Gargantuars explodes Cherry Bomb but has a bandaid. It is shaped like actual cherries that grow on the same stem, Prunus avium, and named after the kind of spherically-shaped firework.
The Cherry Bomb explodes almost instantly after being planted. It has a very short fuse of about 1.2 seconds, but will not cause damage to zombies if eaten before it has the chance to explode. It is a one-time use plant, but can be planted as often as required.
On detonation, it destroys zombies within one square from its location (diagonally as well as horizontally and vertically). It can also remove ladders placed by Ladder Zombies. Like other Instant Kills and Explosives, it can destroy any zombie except for the Gargantuar or Giga-Gargantuar in one shot.
2850. Pole Vaulting Zombie
Pole Vaulting Zombies are blonde-haired, jersey-wearing zombie track stars. They vault over the first plant they encounter, except for Tall-nuts, hile they just run over the top of Spikeweeds and Spikerocks. He is the 4th zombie you will encounter in Adventure Mode.
Absorbs 20 normal damage shots. Appearance changes upon absorption of 10 normal damage shots before dying at 20 normal damage shots.
Use Tall-nuts to block the Pole Vaulting Zombies or plant cheap plants (such as a Puff-shroom) in front if it to make it lose its pole. Squash also works great, but the slow recharge time won't let you kill every Pole Vaulting Zombie. Magnet-shrooms, unfortunately, do not affect its pole, so it really reduces the chance of trying to prevent the jump without a Tall-nut.
If there are two Peashooters in a row when a Pole Vaulting Zombie has just entered, they will be able to take it down before it gets to the end of the row
2849. Bungee Zombie
The Bungee Zombie is a zombie on a bungee cord. He is virtually the sneaky thief of the zombies. It drops from the sky to drop a zombie, or steal a random plant from the lawn. He is the 20th Zombie (21st if with Zombie Yeti based on the Almanac) you will encounter in Adventure Mode.
epending on what is planted on the targeted square, a Bungee Zombie will prioritize a plant, followed by a Pumpkin if present, and lastly the Flower Pot or Lily Pad on which the plant ,was planted.
Bungee Zombie's arrow
Before one attacks, an arrow will shoot out of the sky with a bulls-eye attached and fall on the intended target. After a second, a high-pitched "YEEEE-HAH!" will be heard, and the zombie drops into view on its bungee cord. It hovers over its victim for a few seconds, during which time it can be frozen, paralyzed, attacked, and/or killed. The Bungee Zombie then grabs the plant, and gets pulled back up. During the final wave of any Roof defenses, the Bungee Zombie will drop to deliver a zombie to usually between the fourth and seventh rows, in a similar fashion to the zombies that emerge from underwater in the pool levels, and the zombies that come out of Graves in the Night levels
The Almanac entry of the Bungee Zombie
.
2848. Chomper
The Chomper is a multi-use instant kill plant. It appears to be loosely based on Audrey II, the carnivorous, man-eating plant from Little Shop of Horrors, the Venus Flytrap, and the Piranha Plant from Super Mario Bros.
Chomper almost got a gig doing stunts for The Little Shop of Horrors but it fell through when his agent demanded too much on the front end. Chomper's not resentful, though. He says it's just part of the business.
The Chomper can eat any zombie other than a Gargantuar, Giga-Gargantuar or Dr. Zomboss in one bite - even Zombonis and bobsleds. It will spend about 40 seconds chewing its meal, during which time it is vulnerable and cannot eat another zombie. However, if a Pole Vaulting Zombie (and another Vaulting Zombie) jumps over a Chomper, it will not be able to eat it unless it is frozen.
If a Gargantuar is in front of it, and there are no other zombies that the Chomper can possibly eat (apart from the Gargantuar), and it is not currently chewing, it will bite away at the Gargantuar and do small amounts of damage until it gets squished.
