It started out as a simple hobby when, lo and behold, I realized I have just accumulated 20,000 distinct toy characters in my collection... and the number is still growing. This blog is a great space to share to others just how amazing some of these characters are especially the ones that may have been forgotten or perhaps even those deemed insignificant. Visit Percy's World of Toys as often as you can and witness how the list progresses right before your eyes. Enjoy.

2892. Irwin Troll
Irwin Troll has lots of hair and very little smarts. Perpetually innocent and naïve to the point of imbecility; he is a simple-minded, sweet natured, nature-loving character—very unlike Broom-Hilda.
Eyes: Black
Hair: Purple fur
Race: Troll
Marital Status: Single
Known relatives: Nerwin (nephew)
Base of operations: The enchanted forest
Story: Irwin is the undefeated champion of happiness and good spirits despite Broom-Hilda's best efforts. He is a kind, gentle, loving, troll with a good sense of humor. His spends his time spreading love and happiness to everyone and everything in the enchanted forest.
Continuity: Broom-Hilda
Company: Tribune Media Services, Inc.
First app.: Comics: 1970
Cartoons: Archie's T.V. Funnies (1971)
Creator(s): Russell Myers
Country of origin: USA
Background notes: Irwin appeared in the "Broom-Hilda" segment of the cartoon Archie's T.V. Funnies from 1971. His voice was done by Alan Oppenheimer (who also did Grelber) and apparently it is the only appearance of Irwin Troll outside the comic.
