It started out as a simple hobby when, lo and behold, I realized I have just accumulated 20,000 distinct toy characters in my collection... and the number is still growing. This blog is a great space to share to others just how amazing some of these characters are especially the ones that may have been forgotten or perhaps even those deemed insignificant. Visit Percy's World of Toys as often as you can and witness how the list progresses right before your eyes. Enjoy.

3844. King Pig
The King Pig (also known as Pig King or just The King) is the main antagonist of the Angry Birds series of games, and serves as the leader of the Pigs. (The Boss Pig has a 3 pointed crown, a symbol of being a Queen. So it's not final that the Boss Pig is a Big pig .) His grand scheme is using his minions to capture three unhatched eggs from the Birds so that they may satisfy their hunger. While he does succeed on most occasions, the Birds are able to destroy his army and retrieve the eggs, while seriously injuring the King, even killing him in the first episode. When another large pig takes the King's crown, he swipes the Bird's eggs using a different method, each time surviving, though sometimes barely. In some cases, he will distract the Birds with a cardboard cutout of himself (in Mighty Hoax), or enslave multiple Birds, as he does with the Boomerang Birds in Danger Above and almost the entire Bird tribe in The Big Setup in order to prevent his schemes from being foiled, but in the end, all the Birds end up succeeding. He then tries stealing them yet again in Ham 'Em High, where he gets defeated by the birds again. Afterwards, he and the rest of the pigs dig an underground tunnel to snatch the eggs in Mine and Dine. He makes his first appearance in the final level of Poached Eggs, Theme 3-21. He wants to eat the Eggs.
Trivia
* As there is only one King Pig in the entire game, it's the most rare variety of Pigs seen, and when it does appear, no more than one King Pig will ever appear in the same stage together. The only exception is Golden Egg Level 13, which features four King Pigs, but isn't considered part of the official Angry Birds canon due to the stage being a bonus level.
* For some reason, the cardboard King Pig can move, and do things such as laugh or smile.
However the King Pig may have designed it like that to heighten the illusion that it was real.
* The King Pig is the only pig to have two ears on one side, rather than one on either side of its head. In Angry Birds (Google Chrome), all pigs share this trait due to their redesign.
In the Angry Birds game, "Knock on Wood," the King Pig's crown is removed and replaced by one of his ears.
* In Angry Birds Peke , The King Pig appears in most levels.
