Emily Watson as Victoria Everglot, Victor van Dort's sweet-natured, determined fiance. Victoria Everglot is the second main female character of the movie. She is the daughter of Finis Everglot and Maudeline Everglot, aristocrats who have fallen on hard times. She is gentle, soft-spoken, and a little shy. But she is also not above bending or breaking rules, and actively attempts to seek aid for Victor once she believes he is in trouble.

Michael Gough as Elder Gutknecht, an ancient and rickety skeleton. Elder Gutknecht is one of the residents of the Land of the Dead. He lives at the top of an old, crumbling tower, in a room filled with books and ravens. He is a hunched-over skeleton with no teeth, a wispy fragment of beard, and spectacles. Initially presented as a frightening figure, he proves to be rather kind and grandfatherly. He is implied to be gifted magically, and he is the one who sends Victor and Emily Upstairs to meet Victor's parents via the Ukranian Haunting Spell. He later presides over what would have been Victor and Emily's proper wedding.

Paul The Head Waiter is the head waiter at the Ball & Socket pub in the Land of the Dead. Appropriately for his title, Paul is nothing more than a head. He gets around via an array of cockroaches, who carry his head and fetch drinks for him. Two also serve as a bowtie. His face is a bit lopsided, and he speaks with a French accent.

Scrap is Victor's pet dog, and in the movie is a resident of the Land of the Dead. Scraps is technically first seen in Victor's bedroom, in a painting showing a young Victor and a dog with a bright red collar. Scraps in the Land of the Dead has decayed down to a skeleton, though he retains his bright red collar. He is loyal and friendly, though prone to barking. He helps stop Barkis from kidnapping Victoria at the end by biting his leg, forcing Barkis to release her.

Corpse Bride, often promoted as Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, is a 2005 stop-motion-animated fantasy musical film directed by Mike Johnson and Tim Burton. It is set in a fictional Victorian era village in Europe. Johnny Depp led an all-star cast as the voice of Victor, while Helena Bonham Carter (for whom the project was specially created) voiced Emily, the title character. Corpse Bride is the third stop-motion feature-film produced by Tim Burton (not including his short film Vincent), the first two being The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach.
The film was nominated in the 78th Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature, but was bested by Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. It was shot with a battery of Canon EOS-1D Mark II digital SLRs, rather than the 35mm film cameras used for Burton's previous stop-motion film The Nightmare Before Christmas.
