Established by Samuel Ganz and sons Jack and Sam in 1950, this privately-held family company is now headed by the founder's grandson, Howard Ganz. Corporate Headquarters are located in Toronto, Canada, with U.S. offices in Atlanta and Los Angeles, and overseas offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

As the story begins... shortly after WWII, Samuel Ganz made his way to New York City, while his sons Sam and Jack, settled in Toronto. On one of his visits to see them, Samuel brought along a doll he had seen produced in New York. After making a few contacts, and holding discussions, Ganz Toys was in business!

Ganz Toys rose to become the premier toy company in Canada, producing high quality goods following high safety standards.

When Howard joined the company, this marked the third generation of the family to be officially involved in its operation.

As the firm continued to grow and evolve, the company name was changed to Ganz.

Ganz established collections of giftware, tabletop accents, candles and personal care, garden decor and more. The creation of Webkinz pets and the virtual Webkinz World launched a new chapter in the development of Ganz.

Tutti Fruitti, the pink bunny, is a soft and cuddly character. According ot my niece, Angelica, she smelled really really nice. She reminded me so much of the velveteen Rabbit as her fur is really very soft and velvety albeit her whiskers are a little droopy and leave a lot to be desired, she is an amazing character. She is produced by Ganz (not to be mistaken for GUND).

Tutti Fruitti is such a funny name. A running joke from the Philippines claims that this name is derivative from the Filipino name, Restituto de la Fruita.

1720. Mary Holstad Bunny

Born in the U.S.A.'s Pacific Northwest, Mary spent her childhood drawing paper dolls with her older sister Denise and sewing doll clothes for her Barbies. As time passed, she tried many arts and crafts - just enough to satisfy her curiosity and then moved on to something new. She received the "Best Female Artist" honor her junior and senior years in high school. She continued trying a variety of art forms but soon began to realize that although she loved to draw pastel portraits of people and animals, the 3 dimensional art forms were what she loved best. After buying a book on how to make teddy bears, to satisfy that curiosity, she got hooked and has been designing and making them ever since. Her passion for cats worked its way into her love for making bears. In 1984 she decided to combine a teddy bear and a cat, and the set "Katie's New Kitten" was born. This set was an immediate hit and quickly made Mary well known among bear artists. To Mary's knowledge, this was the first time a bear artist had combined a teddy bear with its' own pet to be sold together as a set. Since then Mary has combined a wide variety of cats, dogs and bunnies with many different bears. She has always tried to capture the look of a bear holding its' own pet with the love, pride and innocence of a child. Mary attended Disneyland's 1992 Bear Convention as an invited artist. She attended Walt Disney World's Bear & Doll Convention as an invited artist in 1993 through 1998.
