It is a black elephant which alludes to the negatives, perhaps, which were used in professional photography and even in amateur photography prior to the popularity of the digital photography. But nowadays, I can see that the really serious photography aficionado still resort to negatives to capture the effect that they won't achieve using even the most sophisticated of Digital Cameras.
