It started out as a simple hobby when, lo and behold, I realized I have just accumulated 20,000 distinct toy characters in my collection... and the number is still growing. This blog is a great space to share to others just how amazing some of these characters are especially the ones that may have been forgotten or perhaps even those deemed insignificant. Visit Percy's World of Toys as often as you can and witness how the list progresses right before your eyes. Enjoy.

2990. Helen Henny
Helen Henny is the bassist (formerly tamborine player) and co-lead vocalist of Munch's Make Believe Band. Although, not officially a musician in stage setups, most show video, and artwork commonly show her playing a bass or tambourine.
Helen debuted as a parody of Australian folk singer Helen Reddy, as a guest for the portrait stage in (rumored) 1979. She later appeared, completely redesigned as an old broadway hen in 1984 as a guest for the balcony stage.
When Showbiz Pizza merged with Pizza Time in '84, Helen became the permanent female member, knocking out all other guest stars, previously in the same spot. Circa 1990, Helen became "Mitzified" to become more appealing to young girls for Concept Unification. Helen's gray feather-hair became pigtails, and her wrinkled features became softened. Helen's ongoing relationship with Chuck began to blossom on and "off" the stage, becoming a classic running gag among fans. Following the debut of MMBB, local Dallas singer Annagrey Labasse became Helen's singing voice, a pattern that would be used for Jasper with Charles Stewart. Around 1995, Helen's personality was adjusted a bit by giving her a cheerleader's outfit, a costume that would be used in stores later on.
