There have been a lot of characters who have assumed the indispensable role of Santa Claus on Christmas. I guess since there are a lot of children in the world and old Saint Nick couldn't possilby attend to all of them and give them their Christmas presents, Santa needs all the help he can get. From the Fathers as Santa Clauses, to Mouse Santa Clauses and dog Santa Clauses and yes... even Bears as Santa Clauses. In fact Santa bears have been one of the most popular Santa Claus version that I know of, second only to the fathers as Santa Claus.
